Meet our Team!


Matthew Rich

Matt Rich, founder of Rich Capital, has been in the financial industry for over twenty-five years. Starting in banks, Matt made the decision to branch off and become an independent advisor in 2006. Matt graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant University, working at MetLife throughout all four years.

In addition to advising, Matt’s experience includes supervising two investment departments at community banks, managing up to six agents at a time.

Matt lives in Oxford with his wife and two daughters. He volunteers as treasurer on the board at Channel 3 Kid’s Camp in Andover, CT. Matt also enjoys staying active and running half-marathons, hoping to one day race a half-Iron Man.


Libby Wright

Libby Wright joined Rich Capital in October 2013, becoming partner in January 2017. Libby started in the financial industry as an operations assistant in an independent broker dealer after graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2009.

Libby works closely with Matt and other advisors in our office providing client and administrative support. She has started taking on a larger role with the Life and Long-Term Care insurance business. Libby also coordinates Rich Capital's client events and marketing endeavors.

Libby lives locally and spends most weekends visiting family and friends. She also especially enjoys when our client's bring their pups in to appointments!


Thomas J Dillon

Thomas "TJ" Dillon joined Rich Capital in January 2014. Previously, TJ served as Chief Operations Officer at Harvest Capital, LLC, an independent broker dealer, along with Matt and possesses over thirteen years of experience as a financial advisor.

TJ graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. While attending CCSU, he also served in the Marine Corps as an Intelligence Specialist with HQCO 25th Marines out of Fort Devens, MA. TJ was a Sergeant when he received an honorable discharge in 2006.

TJ also volunteers his time for various charities including PJ's for a day and Toys for Tots.
